DESIGN STUDIO

The design studio at Pondworks works with our clients to achieve their project goals while delivering the best quality and cost efficient designs. We have a diverse set of design skills and are always ready for the next challenge...

We believe that quality Design services are one of the most important aspects of ensuring a project’s success.  The design should not only establish the aesthetics of a project, but should also address the real world constructability, the long term functionality and the ease of maintenance for an installation.  The design should take into account the project budget, the schedule and the unique site conditions to make the customers functional and aesthetic desires a reality.  PondWorks can function as the lead designer on a project or as a consultant who works with other design and construction professionals.  A well-designed project will make construction easier and more efficient, function better, and provide for convenient maintenance for the life of the installation.

No matter the style; be it a naturalistic woodland creek, a formal ornamental fountain, a Japanese koi pond, a naturally filtered bio-swimming pool, a sandy brackish water marsh, or a rainwater harvesting system, PondWorks has the experience and is willing to work with you to provide the design you’re looking for.

A well designed pond, water feature, bio-pool, fountain or filtration plant will function better, require less maintenance, provide the customer with the best quality installation and achieve their aesthetic goals.

Each site is unique, poses its own challenges and requires its own design solution.  PondWorks has extensive design, construction and maintenance experience with new and existing ponds and water features in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York and Maryland.  With field tested experience, we’ve determined what systems work best for each type of installation, and in each environment to provide the best design.

Our planning and design-build experience helps to avoid unforeseen conflicts during the design phase and minimize additional costs during construction phase.  We believe in a holistic approach to design by addressing the life cycle of the project, from its inception through the life of equipment.  We stand behind our tried and true design, construction and maintenance services.

PondWorks offers design, planning and consulting services to meet the needs of each projects budget and timeline.  Our experience allows us to offer a wide variety of design and construction services. We work with home owners, businesses and construction managers to provide full service design, construction and maintenance services.  PondWorks also works with other design professionals and contractors to provide our expertise on a limited scope basis, when the need arises.  We have and continue to work with landscape architects, civil engineers, developers, site contractors, and excavators to provide design, consultation, construction or maintenance services on new and existing ponds and water features.
