PondWorks focuses on designing, building and maintaining the finest water features. We take pride in our commitment to a quality product and providing the best service possible.
Since 1993 PondWorks has been working with customers to provide the best solution for each project. We can assist with both residential and commercial projects large and small.
Past
PondWorks, or at least its beginnings started around 1993 when Brian Buchholtz expanded his interest in water gardening and began installing small garden ponds as a part time job. The business grew but was still seasonal as Brian completed his studies at Philadelphia University where he graduated with a degree in architecture. After that time PondWorks continued to grow in both size and scope building on experience and staying committed to providing quality installation and care.
Present
The PondWorks staff believes that their broad experience with different types of water features as well as the understanding of the design and construction process sets us apart. Currently PondWorks employ’s a dedicated and knowledgeable staff who provide regular services to nearly 300 businesses and residences in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York, and Maryland. By taking advantage of many relationships with other design and construction professionals, PondWorks has been able to continue to broaden the scope of work. Garden and Koi ponds are still a large part of the schedule however PondWorks also undertakes many other types of aquatic projects.
Future
As time passes the goals at PondWorks will continue to progress with the changing industry, however the ideals of quality design, installation and service for the aquatic industry will remain. PondWorks will continue to make upgrades in equipment and methods that enable us to provide our customers quality service at an affordable price
"Our pond plans presented Brian with quite a challenge. We had chosen a spot nestled in an existing grove of Rhodendrons and a precious old Red Maple. The Pondworks team came in and dug the pond, laid the pipes for the bottom drains and skimmers, and laid positioned the liner without so much as a broken branch... The real craftsmanship came with the rock work. Large and indigeneous rocks were artfully placed around the pond to complete the natural setting. Thank you Brian, for building this beautiful pond..."
